Manufactured hat sizes are notoriously inexact.

A true fit is determined by circumference and head shape.

When you visit our shop, we take an accurate measurement of your head shape and head circumference as well as other details such whether you have a long oval head shape or a high crown. We also take into account how you like your hats to fit – what’s most comfortable and practical to you.

In the case that you are not able to visit our shop in person, we do offer an at home sizing kit when you place an order through email or over the phone. Once you determine the circumference of your head, we will send you two hat leathers that represent two slightly different but still exact sizes for you to choose from. Along with your notation of one of three head shapes per the kit, you can be assured of receiving a good fit. It’s guaranteed.
